YEREVAN. – A part of the latest consignment of humanitarian relief, which was delivered from Armenia to Syria, on Friday was transferred to Damascus.
This humanitarian aid, which primarily comprises clothing and food, was unloaded at Saint Sarkis Armenian Church in the Syrian capital city, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Subsequently, the embassy of Armenia in Damascus and the local Armenian community representatives will organize the distribution of this humanitarian assistance.
In the coming days, the rest of this humanitarian relief will be transported to Aleppo, Kessab, and several other Syrian towns.
