YEREVAN. – Armenian-made jewelry can compete in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

UAE businessman Javed Sheikh, who has arrived in capital city Yerevan Jewelry Market along with buyers from several other countries, told about the above-said to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

He noted, however, that buyers from the UAE are quite choosy and used to higher-carat gold. 
Sheikh added that although the quality of jewelry made in Armenia is not bad, modern equipment is needed whereby it even looks visually different, and as a result, Armenian-made jewelry will acquire a more valuable and modern look.
