US President Donald Trump's 's controversial state visit to the UK will take place next year, Sky News reported quoting UK senior Government sources.

At the same time, according to the sources, Trump is an owner of two golf courses in Scotland and may make an unofficial visit before then.

It was noted that  timing of Trump's visit may depend on “how long Theresa May survives as Prime Minister.”

Trump was going to visit the UK after the G 20 summit, but the White House spokesman Sean Spicer later dismissed those reports.
