Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, who is on a working visit to Austria, met on Tuesday with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Ireland, Simon Coveney.

The parties exchanged views on moves to intensify the Armenian-Irish political dialogue and promote trade and economic relations, Armenian foreign ministry said.

Nalbandian and Coveney noted the importance of deepening cooperation on international platforms, developing inter-parliamentary ties. The interlocutors also discussed issues related to the expansion of the legal framework.

The minister s also focused on key regional and international challenges. At Coveney’s request, Nalbandian briefed his counterpart on the joint efforts of Armenia and the OSCE MG co-chairs aimed at finding exclusively peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict.
