A former military commander and his bodyguard were killed and eight people were injured as a result of an explosion in Afghanistan, reported The Associated Press (AP).
The explosion occurred in Takhar Province, at a restaurant where former military member Nazuk Mir was having breakfast.
Police believe that he was the target of this explosion.
