Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that President Vladimir Putin stands ready to meet with his US counterpart, Donald Trump, within the framework of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in Vietnam, reported RIA Novosti news agency of Russia.
Lavrov noted that the respective protocol services are in contact with one another.
The Russian FM added that his talk with US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson may take place also along the lines of the aforesaid summit.
