The State Secretary and Deputy Russian Foreign Minister Grigory B. Karasin received Tuesday the Acting Co-chair of the Geneva discussions on the South Caucasus from the UN, Levent Bilman

During the conversation the problems of conflict settlement were touched upon. Particular attention was paid to the Geneva discussions on security and stability in Transcaucasia, Russian foreign ministry’s website reported.

Bilman was also received by the dpartments of the Russian Foreign Ministry, where the situation in the east of Ukraine, the Nagorno-Karabakh settlement, as well as general issues of peace and security were discussed, with emphasis on the role of the UN in conflict prevention.
