YEREVAN. – Armenia’s relations with the United States are not conditioned by relations with Russia, never conditions its relations with the US and Russia, Chairman of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Armen Ashotyan told reporters on Thursday.
The world does not benefit from Russian-American economic and political confrontation, said Ashotyan adding that this is unprofitable because of existing global challenges such as security and world economic stability.
Chairman of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations also advised not to aggravate the situation over ‘Kremlin report’, since the particular consequences this can lead specifically for the Armenian side.
As reported earlier, the so- called ‘Kremlin Report’ that was published by U.S. Treasury Department on January 30 includes the names of 114 senior political figures and 96 oligarchs.
