YEREVAN. – President Serzh Sargsyan on Thursday received Bradley Busetto, outgoing United Nations (UN) Resident Coordinator and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Resident Representative in Armenia.
Sargsyan lauded Armenia’s cooperation with the UN organizations during Busetto’s tenure, and he considered those years to be quite successful in terms of the productiveness of their collaboration.
Also, the President stressed the UN Resident Coordinator’s personal contribution to the extensive work that has been done in Armenia, and he thanked him wishing success in his future activities.
“Over the course of these years, the UN Development Programme has become the reliable and effective partner of the government of Armenia,” he added, in particular. “I very highly assess the Development Programme’s participation in our electoral processes.”
Bradley Busetto, in turn, said it was a great honor and responsibility for him to work in Armenia and to implement the programs which the President noted, and which were beneficial for Armenia and its citizens.
He assured that the years he spent in Armenia will always remain in his recollections, and he wished peace and prosperity to Armenia and the region entire.
