Spanish Defense Ministry has canceled the deal to sell Saudi Arabia 400 precious bombs, Defense World reported.
According to the source, Madrid will return 9.2 million Euros paid by Riyadh amidst apprehensions that the bombs could be used in Yemen.
After the attack on a bus carrying Yemeni students on August 9, which killed 51 people, Defense Minister Margarita Robles urged to review all arms deals with the Arab kingdom.
This year Madrid and Riyadh concluded an agreement under which Spain will build five warships worth $2 billion for Saudi Arabia.
