The Cairo Criminal Court on Saturday upheld the death sentence ruling against 75 members of the Muslim Brotherhood terrorist organization, and along the lines of the case into organizing armed resistance against Egyptian law enforcement in the summer of 2013, the Middle East News Agency ( MENA) reported.
In addition, the court sentenced 47 Muslim Brotherhood members involved in the armed Rabaa sit-in to life imprisonment.
The top leadership of the Muslim Brotherhood—which is banned in Egypt—is either in jail or hiding from justice.
