YEREVAN. – Our common goal is to ensure that the water would not be released from Lake Sevan, the chair of the Water Committee of Armenian Ministry of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources Inessa Gabayan said on Friday.

According to her, many issues should be resolved, including the accumulation of water, reducing its losses, and the correct management of water.

Only 27.42 million cubic meters of water from the 40 million has been used so far, she added.

According to her, the release of water from the lake could be repeated next year, but everything should be done to cut to maximum the release of water.
