Armenian President Armen Sarkissian visited on Friday one of Siemens headquarters in Berlin, Armenian President’s press service reported.

Armen Sarkissian visited gas turbines production, saw the production process and met with management.

Siemens is involved in a large-scale investment program in Armenia; along with Renko and Armpower, it is implementing construction and operation of a gas turbine hydropower station in Yerevan.

Siemens gas turbines will be used for the construction of a hydroelectric power plant. The hydroelectric power station is expected to significantly increase Armenian energy-production capabilities.
