The European Union has no intention to introduce new sanctions on Moscow amid the military incident between Ukraine and Russia, Euractiv reported.
According to issued statement, the EU leaders intend to express extreme concern with the new escalation of the conflict, but no new sanctions are expected against Russia.
The EU states intend to again express support for the sovereignty, territorial integrity and independence of Ukraine, the statement noted.
