Republican Party Senator Lindsey Graham believes the pulling out of about 2,000 US troops from Syria would be a big mistake. In his words, it is premature to say ISIS has been defeated.

The senator told ABC News that he met with US Defense Secretary James Mattis and urged him to hold discussions on that decision.

Two other Republican Party lawmakers also have questioned the said White House decision. Commenting on President Donald Trump’s tweet on having defeated ISIS, Congressman Adam Kinzinger said this just was not true.

And Republican Senator Marco Rubio told ABC News that the withdrawal of US troops from Syria would be a huge mistake which could have inconceivable consequences.
