The Armenian Ministry of Finance submitted draft amendments to the laws on budget system and treasury system to the public.
One of the amendments deals across-the-board cut. The ministry proposes abolition of this practice and cutting of expenditures when it is expedient.
The Armenian Government has never practiced across-the-board cuts though the relevant laws have been in effect since 1995.
