President of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakyan convened a working meeting on Wednesday with the participation of the supreme command staff of the NKR Defense Army.

Issues related to the combat readiness of the army were discussed during the consultations held in one of the military units in republic’s south.

President Sahakyan stressed all the military units of the Defense Army should always be on alert thus contributing to maintaining security of the republic as well as preserving peace and stability in the entire region.

Bako Sahakyan also visited the town of Hadrut to discuss social and economic development of the region with head of the regional administration Valery Gevorgyan.
