Yesterday’s incident near government building revealed ignorance and helplessness of our policemen, said Larisa Alaverdyan, member of Heritage party.

Over 40 policemen attacked the protestors near the building of Armenian government on Thursday, among them were representatives of the Heritage party.

Talking to the journalists today Larisa Alaverdyan noted policemen are still using rough soviet methods while treating people. “Seminars for policemen held by the OSCE did not teach them anything,” she stressed.

The Heritage MP called on the parliament and lawmakers to give legal assessment of the incident. Unless they do it, it will mean they are all indirect participants of illegal actions, she added.
