On 2 April, at the invitation of Tianjin Normal University, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the People’s Republic of China Sergey Manasaryan delivered an open lecture titled “Armenia and the Belt and Road Initiative”.

Before the lecture, Ambassador Manasaryan had a meeting with President of Tianjin Normal University Zhong Yingua and discussed the opportunities for cooperation with Armenia’s universities. The parties reached na agreement on direct cooperation between the Armenian State Pedagogical University and Tianjin Normal University.

The lecture was devoted to the history of Armenia, the Armenian Genocide, Armenian-Chinese relations and Armenia’s participation in the Belt and Road Initiative and was followed by a question-and-answer session. Among the attendees were students and professors of Tianjin Normal University and other universities of Tianjin.
