The Supervisory Service under Armenian Premier Tigran Sargsyan is studying doctors’ demand for higher salaries.

Armenian News-NEWS.am informed readers that the medical staff of Yerevan Hospital #1 lodged addressed a letter of complaint to the Armenian Premier. The doctors pointed out that their salary has not so far been raised despite top-ranking officials’ promises. The doctors pointed out that their current monthly salary is only 21,500 AMD (about $52).

Talking to Armenian news-NEWS.am, Shushan Hunanyan, Press Secretary of the RA Ministry of Health, reported that Garush Aivazyan, Deputy Head of the Heath Agency is studying the complaint in cooperation with the Premier’s Supervisory Service. “We will inform you of the details,” she said.
