French chansonnier of Armenian origin Charles Aznavour will participate in the protest action in front of the French Senate on March 12. The demonstrators will demand to pass a law on criminalization of denial of the Armenian Genocide, perpetrated in 1915 under the Ottoman Empire, Yerkir newspaper reports.

According to the source, the world-renowned singer, the symbol of France will first participate in such kind of action, the French office of Hay Dat Office (Armenian Cause) reports.

Representatives of human rights organizations, as well as independent human rights defenders Bernard-Henri Lévy and Serge Klarsfeld will also participate in the protest action.
