The day of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s visit to Moscow was not chosen by accident. It marks the 90th anniversary of the Treaty of Moscow, with which Bolsheviks “sold out” Armenia, Leader of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation Dashnakstutyun (ARFD) Vahan Hovhannisyan told a press conference on Friday.

According to him, the date of the visit was to be shifted, but the Turkish side insisted on this day specifically to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Treaty of Moscow. “Certainly, Turkey’s intentions are clear to us, whereas Russia’s actions, as our strategic partner conflict with our national interests,” Hovhannisyan said.  He emphasized Russia and many other countries ignore Armenia’s interests as the Armenian authorities often act that way themselves.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am reported earlier, on March 15-16, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit Moscow. He will hold meetings with Russian top officials and participate in the meeting of Russian-Turkish cooperation council.
