Domestic political situation in 2008 led to polarization of the Armenian society, said political expert Alexander Markarov.
Director of the Armenian branch of the Institute of CIS States noted pro-government political forces united on the threshold of parliamentary elections and are ready to stand together.
The opposition failed to consolidate on the threshold of parliamentary elections, just as it did at the previous presidential election. At the moment the opposition is intensifying efforts by launching a wave of rallies.
The expert deems opposition rallies will probably continue up to summer.
