Meeting of US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Chancellor Angela Merkel has been canceled over ‘pressing issues’, AP reported.
Pompeo was supposed to meet with Merkel and German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas in Berlin on Tuesday.
According to the State Department, the meetings have had to be rescheduled due to "pressing issues" but offered no further comment on why.
Pompeo has been taking part in a meeting of the Arctic Council in Finland.
