The participants of the oppositional rally, launched by the Armenian National Congress (ANC) made the Armenian First President, ANC leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan interrupt his speech in Azatutyun Square in Yerevan. The protestors chanted “Now, Now!” and demanded decisive steps from the ANC leader.
Ter-Petrosyan stressed all “nows, todays and tomorrows” should be suspended, recalling during the March 1 rally they decided not to be engaged in spontaneous activities. “This is a political process, not a rally. We are not boxing, on the contrary we are playing chess,” Ter-Petrosyan noted.
