Warlike statements regarding civil aviation are groundless as all the issues in this field are solved based on international documents, head of the OSCE Audronius Azubalis told journalists in Yerevan.

Earlier this week Director of the Civil Aviation Administration Arif Mammadov said Azerbaijan has a right to annihilate aircrafts flying to Nagorno-Karabakh’s airport.

“Our airspace is closed over Karabakh. According to law on aviation, it is considered to annihilate those aircrafts which fly even to there,” Mammadov said.

The airport of Stepanakert will resume its work after 10-year break this May.
