International coalition forces continue to bombard radar installations at two air defense bases belonging to Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi.

Earlier it was reported the western forces struck Tripoli, including Gaddafi’s residence. Also, air strikes were launched in Sabha and the port city of Sirte. The Libyan authorities have reported of many killed in air raids, RIA Novosti reports.

Meanwhile, forces loyal to Gaddafi continue operations against the rebels. According to residents of Zintan city in western Libya, on March 21 Gaddafi’s troops bombarded the city.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am reported earlier, a wave of unrest continues in Libya since February. The demonstrators protest against leader Muammar Gaddafi who has been in power for more than 40 years. Gaddafi’s opponents seized many cities in the eastern part of the country. Clashes between rebels and pro-Gaddafi forces continue.
