The reports saying director of “Jermuk Group” group Ashot Arsenyan had purchased Georgian PepsiCo are untrue. He intends to establish production of Pepsi in Armenia starting from May, Edgar Ghazaryan, assistant to director of “Jermuk Group”, told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

According to him, the Georgian PepsiCo company has already refuted the reports.

Ghazaryan noted that equipment for Armenian production of Pepsi had been installed, while investments reach €22 million. The Yerevan factory will employ around 250 people, he added.

Earlier director of Armenian “Jermuk Group” was reported to purchase shares of the Georgian PepsiCo company.
