On March 29, NKR President Bako Sahakyan received the delegation of the State Engineering University of Armenia headed by Vice Speaker of the Armenian National Assembly, chairman of the university’s governing board Samvel Nikoyan.

Issues related to cooperation between the two Armenian states in the sphere of higher education were discussed during the meeting.

In this context Bako Sahakyan made a high appraisal of the State Engineering University of Armenia both in assisting the development of higher education in Artsakh and in realization of different programs in  the country.

The President also noted the importance of strengthening ties between this leading university of Armenia and Artsakh State University. The sides considered it among pivotal conditions for developing bilateral cooperation.

Vice-chairman of the Artsakh Republic National Assembly Arthur Tovmasyan, minister of education and science Vladik Khachatryan and other officials participated in the meeting, NKR presidential press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
