YEREVAN. – The National Security Service of Armenia (NSS) has released a statement regarding the attempted seizure of lawyer Hovhannes Chamsaryan's computers by an NSS investigator.

As per the statement in the NSS, as part of a criminal case which the NSS is investigation for a seemingly grave crime, the investigative body planned to conduct a search at the lawyer's office on November 25, to look for items and documents relevant to the case, and with a search warrant by the court.

According to the statement, the search did not relate to the lawyer's legal practice and functions as the search was directed to finding the tools and means of this crime.
