YEREVAN. – We have introduced a system of mandatory bank guarantees in the public procurement system, and this system is connected with technical supervision. Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this at Wednesday’s Cabinet meeting of the government.

According to him, all capital constructions in the country shall from now on be combined with technical supervision. "This topic was opened a year ago in connection with low-quality constructions," Pashinyan said, in particular. "Now, the fees for technical supervision are being liberalized [in Armenia] so that people become interested in actually conducting technical supervision, expecting specific profits from it."
