A fatal hit-and-run occurred in Yerevan Saturday, shamshyan.com reported.
At around 10:30pm, a car hit pedestrian Vazgen Darbinyan, 73, and he died on the spot.
The police found out that this car was driven by Artashes Gasumyan, 24, a resident of Yerevan, and he was found and detained.
It turned out that he was drunk at the time of this road accident.
A criminal case has been initiated on this incident.
