The government of Armenia, led by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, continues the 2022-2024 discussions on the macroeconomic and fiscal framework for 2022.

During Friday's respective consultation, the matter of submission—according to the assessed framework—of budget applications by state bodies was raised.

The PM noted that the economic course for 2022 and the following years will depend on the quality and performance of the work in 2021 on tax administration, cost-effectiveness, economic development and financial stability.

According to Pashinyan, there is a significant potential for ensuring the mentioned components, and consistent work must be done in this regard.

Also, the PM instructed the heads of the concerned departments to submit specific proposals in these directions.
