By the decision of the government of Armenia, Levon Azizyan, Acting Director of the Hydrometeorological and Monitoring Center, on Thursday was appointed Permanent Representative of Armenia to the World Meteorological Organization (WMO).
Armenia has been a member in the WMO since October 1992, and in 2020, it became a member in two WMO technical commissions.
