The Caucasus Nature Fund (CNF) has allocated 75,000 euros to Arpa—formerly Gnishik—Protected Landscape of Armenia, as part of the 2021 financial assistance programs for the specially protected areas of nature of the country.

This assistance ensures effective management of protected areas, pays staff salaries, pays for utilities and other services, and makes expenses that will increase the level of protection of these areas.

Special attention has been paid also to the infrastructure and technical means for the development of ecotourism—in particular, animal sightings—in the protected area.
