Armenia’s Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan today received Executive Vice-President for Central and Eastern Europe at Veolia, Veolia in Armenia Director Malika Ghendouri.
Avinyan attached importance to Veolia’s operations in Armenia, stressed the Armenian government’s interest in the engagement of new investments and added that several programs that remained incomplete due to the coronavirus pandemic and war last year must continue to be implemented. He also called attention to the improvement of the water system and particularly stressed the need for effective management.
Ghendouri expressed gratitude for the reception and emphasized that it would be possible to solve the sector-specific issues with the government and fully implement the agreement concluded between the parties.
The parties also touched upon the water tariff, as well as the provision of services and the opportunities to improve the quality of those services.
