YEREVAN. – In 2021, it is possible to organize the production of artillery means and related weaponry which will be able to meet domestic demand; Hakob Arshakyan, Minister High-Tech Industry of Armenia, told this to a press conference on Tuesday.

He clarified that the aforesaid production applies to projectiles, grenade launchers, mine throwers, as well as other components. According to him, serious investments have been made in that direction in Armenia, there is a production process, as well as there are chances to expand production opportunities in 2021. "Important importance is attached to the production of radars, communication means, as well as optical and optical laser means," Arshakyan added.

He assured that all the respective funds allocated from the state budget had been used, and "the work on the development of the military-industrial sphere must continue, regardless of whether or not we are preparing for war."
