The Minister of Territorial Administration of Armenia, Suren Papikyan, on Tuesday received newly appointed Swedish Ambassador Patrik Svensson.
"We are ready to strengthen and expand the Armenian-Swedish cooperation in various spheres," Papikyan said, in particular.
According to the minister, the successful track-record of the Armenian-Swedish cooperation has been especially manifested in several domains.
Ambassador Svensson, in turn, reaffirmed Sweden's readiness to develop cooperation with Armenia, and expressed confidence that his tenure would give a new impetus to the deepening of their existing partnership with the Ministry of Territorial Administration of Armenia.
Highlighting the continuity of the current programs, the envoy said that Sweden was interested also in the exchange of experience in the framework of strengthening local democracy and administrative-territorial reforms.
