In the coming days, the government of Armenia will make a new decision—through a written procedure—on continuing to provide financial assistance to the citizens of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).

Mesrop Arakelyan, the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia, stated during Thursday’s Cabinet meeting of the that if this draft is adopted, as March, the citizens of Artsakh will be provided with 68 thousand drams of assistance for each person for another four months.

But exceptions to this program are the male non-disabled people aged 18-63 who benefit from some job incentive measures. "After the [recent Artsakh] war, more than 15 billion drams of assistance has already been provided to more than 100,000 citizens of Artsakh," Arakelyan said.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, in turn, added that these programs are within the framework of the roadmap published by him on November 18, 2020, and the Armenian government is consistently implementing it.
