YEREVAN. – Hraparak daily of Armenia writes: [Ex-PM] Vazgen Manukyan [the opposition Homeland Salvation Movement’s candidate for PM] was also present at the founding ceremony of the Armenian National Front charitable organization yesterday.

Responding to the question what kind of breakthrough change can we expect from the Homeland Salvation Movement during the February 20 rally, he said. "No single action is a breakthrough, the sum of the actions can be a breakthrough, and it is very important that the entire people participate in that action, and not place hope that a hero will come. (…).”

Referring to [ex-President] Robert Kocharyan's statement that he is ready to run in the [snap parliamentary] elections and "win," Manukyan said: "He [Kocharyan] said that he is against holding snap elections under [the reign of PM] Nikol Pashinyan, but if there were, he will run, whereas our agenda is different: to throw them [the incumbent authorities] out, and then to hold elections."
