Blessing of the newlyweds was held Sunday at the Church of Saint Gayane in Vagharshapat (Etchmiadzin), Armenia, at the end of the Divine Liturgy, on the occasion of Candlemas Day, reported the Information Center of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.

After that—and on the occasion of Candlemas Day, Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II gave his blessings and distributed gifts to the newlywed deacons and the newlywed couples present at the aforesaid church.
