Chairman of the Chamber of Advocates of Armenia Ara Zohrabyan today told reporters that he and a group of his fellow advocates have filed a lawsuit against the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff of the Armed Forces in the Administrative Court.

“We have asked the Administrative Court to oblige the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff of the Armed Forces to not cede territories without demarcation and delimitation. The Court has rejected application of a measure for securing the claim. We have appealed the rejection to the Court of Appeal,” he said, adding that he and other advocates are no longer surprised that pieces of the territories adjacent to Syunik Province are being taken. “As if the defeat wasn’t enough, Armenia is losing sovereignty and its external security every day,” he said.
