YEREVAN. – Hraparak daily of Armenia writes: The [majority] My Step faction [in parliament] thwarted yesterday—by not attending the session—the initiative of the [opposition] BAP and PAP [factions] to convene a special session [of the National Assembly].
The opposition had convened a special session to lift the martial law [in Armenia].
Instead, the topic of snap [parliamentary] elections was again relevant within the ruling team yesterday. They believe that the internal political situation [in the country] escalated thusly because of not holding elections, and they intend to bring the matter to the internal party agenda in the coming days.
