Armenia’s Minister of Emergency Situations, Andranik Piloyan, received French Ambassador Jonathan Lacote.

Piloyan praised the Armenian-French cooperation in emergencies and civil defense.

Highlighting the safety of the population and the ability to withstand disasters, the parties expressed readiness to continue and further deepen the joint work in this regard.

They touched also upon the possibilities of training Armenian rescuers with the support of the French side, and implementing joint projects in disaster medicine and respective psychological service.

The parties expressed their readiness to continue and expand joint programs in civil defense and emergencies.
