Gyumri Medical Center told Armenian News-NEWS.am that a couple were knife-stabbed, adding that the husband is in stable condition, and the wife has been transported to Yerevan.

The medical center reported that yesterday a 40-year-old man was transferred to Gyumri Medical Center with cut, pierced and penetrating wounds in his abdomen and chest area. He underwent a surgery and is currently in stable condition at the surgery unit.

The man’s 35-year-old wife was transferred to the hospital with multiple cut and pierced wounds in the left upper extremity and with damaged tendons of the index and middle fingers.

The hospital reported that the woman has been transported to Yerevan and is under the supervision of a microsurgeon.
