The Office of the Representative of Armenia before the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) has selected and summarized in Armenian 19 ECHR judgments in precedent cases in order to get familiarized with the latest developments—mainly from 2018 to 2020—in ECHR case law, informed the representation of Armenia before the ECHR.

The special interest and importance of the selected judgments is conditioned by similar legal issues in the legal system of Armenia. The summaries of these judgments include examples of other precedents of the ECHR relating to the legal issue raised and analyzed by the ECHR in a particular judgment, as well as the ECHR's general approach to legal issues arising out of the rights infringed or not infringed in the given case.

As a result of close cooperation with the relevant ECHR departments, the Armenian summaries of the aforementioned ECHR judgments are now accessible on the HUDOC case-law database here.
