According to a survey by the International Republican Institute (IRI), the Human Rights Defender's Office is the second among state (public) institutions in Armenia with a "very favorable" rating given by the people. This was reported by the Human Rights Defender's Office, and it published the data of this survey.

Moreover, only 3 percent of the respondents had not heard about the Human Rights Defender's institution.

The respondents of this survey were both urban and rural residents.

The survey was conducted after the September-November 2020 Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) war.
