YEREVAN. – French Culture Days will be held in Armenia, dedicated to the International Day of La Francophonie, which is celebrated on March 20.
During the press conference dedicated to the respective upcoming events, French ambassador to Armenia Jonathan Lacote thanked the Armenian authorities for supporting the development of the French language and culture.
"You can learn French in Armenia from kindergarten to university," the ambassador added, announcing the opening of a French Cultural Center at the Charles Aznavour House Museum in Yerevan.
The ambassador especially noted that Armenia, being a country with its traditional cultural values and language, has deeply accepted the French language and culture, and France highly appreciates it.
Within the framework of the French Culture Days, competitions, photo exhibitions, and concerts will be held in Armenia for a month. But the main event will be the Fourth La Francophonie Film Festival.
