Former executive director of Hayastan All-Armenian Fund Ara Vardanyan has applied to Armenia’s Prosecutor General’s Office, National Security Service and Investigative Committee and has posted the following on his Facebook page:
“Over the past two weeks, my fellow citizens of Armenia and I found out from the presses some ridiculous news.
1. According to a video that was disseminated, the advisor to the Prime Minister of Armenia, abusing official position, directly instructed law-enforcement officers with regard to particular criminal cases.
2. According to the news that was disseminated, during the war [in Nagorno-Karabakh], Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister of Armenia Eduard Aghajanyan and several others withdrew the nearly AMD 9,000,000 transferred by Hayastan All-Armenian Fund to the Government of Armenia and appropriated the funds.
With this, I am addressing the Prosecutor General’s Office, National Security Service and Investigative Committee with the demand to immediately conduct a study on the aforementioned and launch criminal cases.”
