The police are preparing a report on the death of a newborn at the hospital of Gavar, Armenia, shamshyan.com reports.

At around 8:20am on Thursday, a 22-year-old woman from Gegharkunik Province underwent a caesarean delivery at the aforementioned medical center, during which she gave birth to a boy; but the newborn died some time thereafter.

And the hospital staff informed the police that the child's relatives were arguing.

A police squad was dispatched to the scene.
